For those of you who have not seen pictures of Ashlyn yet, here she is. Our adorable little one who has already more than doubled her birth weight. It's hard to believe she was 4 lbs 9 oz when she now weighs over 10 lbs. She is already such a part of our family and I can't imagine life without her. Its amazing how fast that happens!

My Girls!

For just over two months I have been able to use this term and I love it! With the arrival of my sweet, sweet Ashlyn Siera, I have come to know another truth of this existence. It is possible to have as much love for a second child as you do for your first. Like many or all moms, I never thought I could love a child as much as my Baylee Malia. I can't say that I worried too much about it but I definetly wondered. It's amazing how a heart can grow. My mother, who has 12 children, has always told me this, but experiencing it is different and wonderful. I love to snuggle with both of them and I just think "My girls... I love them so much, Thank you Heavenly Father!" Baylee is such a cute big sister and she loves to hold her "Ashwin Patera". I truly have a blessed life and feel the closest to Heavenly Father in the quiet moments of motherhood, with my children close by.

Here I go!

Well, I am starting a blog... As I emerge from my almost one year slump of pregnancy and new baby, I am excited to think of the new ways I can bring my functioning back to a level I can be happy with. I don't think of myself as the blogging "type", but over the last couple of months, I realize that it could be a great tool in keeping people updated oi my life and my families in a new way. Being as we have a lot of family on both sides spread out, I figure this could be a good way to let those interested in on what is going on. That is assuming I post stuff on here, but I want to give it a try.

I have perused friends and family members blogs and I have to say it is fun to get to know some of the little things, events and thoughts that might not make it into a conversation. So here goes!
